Sterling, VA – Strongbridge LLC, a software integrator serving the federal government, has been awarded a 5-year, $48.8M contract by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to provide operations and maintenance for the Crash Data Acquisition Network (CDAN).   

CDAN is an integrated, web-based information technology system that provides a central information technology (IT) platform that maintains the data the National Center for Statistics and Analysis requires to analyze vehicle crash data and identify outcomes, causal factors, and vehicle and component performance. 

Strongbridge’s team has more than 20 years of experience supporting the CDAN IT platform and has developed and maintained highly effective and customized crash data collection solutions in support of NHTSA’s mission. This includes the design and implementation of the systems supporting record-based studies, and the execution of national level programs facilitating the data collection and transfer from the states.
